PYWE is really great. it's a great chance to meet other people who like music as much as i do. it's a great way to make new friends, too. if you play an instrument, and you have soething like this available to you, i'd definitely go. it's a lot of fun.

First Impressions
Mood:  chatty

So Far, I've been to 1 Immersion Day and 2 Rehearsals for the Portland Youth Wind Ensemble (PYWE). It is so much fun. The pieces are pretty good. Some parts are a little hard to play because they're so fast, but I'm working on it.

I think my favorite piece is 'Dance of the Jesters' so far, but I really like them all. 'Sketches on a Tudor Psalm' is slow, but it's hard because of the counting. Sorry if I'm being a little confusingSometimes I'm like that.

Anyway, playing music is really fun.

Whoops! I completely forgot to tell you what instrument I play

I play the flute. I've been playing since I was about 8 or 9, I think. I've been taking private lessons for about two years at USM.
